Your nurse, then your provider
Your nurse arrives and goes through your health history with you. A licensed provider then reviews it with you, with your nurse right there beside you.
Under 10 minutes, start to finish.Your order, then your drip
Your provider writes the order, and your nurse starts the IV she was cleared to give you. She cleans up completely when she is done.
Your exam, and why it happens at the visit
A licensed provider reviews your health history with you present and writes an order with your name on it. Arizona does not allow blanket protocols for elective IV therapy, and plenty of operators use them anyway. Your exam then covers you for a year unless your health history changes.
If a formulation is not right for you
Ingredients can come out and the drip still runs. Nobody is sent away over one additive. If we cannot treat you at all, we say so plainly, help you work out where to go, and do not charge you for the visit.
